The New People will have to be careful in how they approach the Elders.
Some of the Elders will be silent because no one will ask anything of them. They will awaken to this new time with nothing to offer. But many of the Elders will have fallen asleep. Their steps will take them to the Elders who they will ask to guide them on their journey. They will retrace their steps to find what was left by the trail. In the time of the Seventh Fire New People will emerge. This prophet was described as “young and had a strange light in his eyes” and said: …The Seventh Prophet that came to the people long ago was said to be different from the other prophets. This will begin the golden age of peace, explains lead artist and Indigenous art & history educator Phil Cote. In recent times there has been a talk of an Eighth Fire in which the ancestor prophets say that to light the Eighth Fire Indigenous People will come forward with their knowledge connecting with the western knowledge and from this union a new people will emerge lighting the Eighth and final Fire. We have stories of prophets who came to the people a millennium ago to give visions of the future that would come in stages called the Seven Fires Prophecy.
